Re: Raleigh NC vicinity

After work Friday 10/15/10, we decided to take a spur of the moment trip to the State Fair in Raleigh. So I jumped on better bidding dot com and used the PRICELINE link. After a initial failed bid of $38 for a 3 star in the Raleigh-Durham (Airport RDU) zone, I upped the bid to $41 and added the Raleigh-Durham (Research Triangle Park) zone. My bid was accepted

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $41.00

Radisson Research Triangle Park

I-40 Exit 280 At Davis Drive

Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

Subtotal: $41.00

Taxes & Fees: $13.07

Overall this is a very nice hotel. The hotel lobby and room were very acceptable and super clean. However, they use sleep number beds. My wife

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see you received a great deal but sorry to hear the bed was defective. Keep in mind that the hotel may not even be aware of the issue with the bed (if it's a recent issue and not yet reported) so i wouldn't necessarily draw the conclusion that they were 'bad' for offering a room with a poor mattress.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.

Hope your future nites are more restful.
