Priceline Hotel: New York: When to start bidding?

Hi guys,

For the dates listed above, when would it be reasonable to start bidding at Priceline? I suppose it is a bit early at this time? Any experiences?

My preferences:

4*

1. Central Park South

2. Midtown East

3. Midtown West

4. Chelsea

Max bid: Around $270, but of course I am looking for the lowest possible rate :)
