Priceline Hotel: 4* Charleston (Downtown) French Quarter Inn

Hi everyone

Got the 4* Charleston (Downtown) French Quarter Inn for $170 for these dates. Not as good a deal as others have seemed to get in the past few months (about $150) but I'm happy - I have already spent sooooo many hours researching this trip and didn't want to spend any more time. I am wondering if it's slightly higher rate because it's a weekend.

My strategy was aiming at Downtown - started offering between $65-$85 for 3* and 3.5* properties. Then I decided to upgrade to the French Quarter (#1 on TripAdvisor) so I started at $140pn and just added $10 and areas that don't have 4 star properties (all but Mt Pleasant as far as I could see) each time until I got it.

Rates do vary significantly by dates - if these dates are a bit busier, rates will unfortunately be higher. This does look like a nice deal for this very well-reviewed hotel, though.
