Welcome to BetterBidding!

Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay? Was your rejected $43 bid at the 4* or 3.5* level? What is your maximum bid?

Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your future bidding.

I'd like to say no more for $50/night and would prefer a 4*, but if my budget sends me to 3.5*, I'm fine with that. So price is more important than rating. The $43 was rejected at the 4* level. I started at $40, then increased to $43.

Thanks for your help.

This is contradictory so i'll rephrase...

Do you want to try for a 4* up to $50 first before trying for a 3.5* OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?
