kewl-1
1. My 3 night bid Started at $57/night for 4* Boston (Downtown - Charlestown) 2. Rejected, PL counter offered to add $14/night to bid (this would have made it $74/night)3. No way, I'm a Betterbidder Buddy!4. Added South Boston (free bid) and increased bid to $65.5. Rejected again. :) 6. Added Copley area (which contains 4*, but that area was ok with me too...) and increased to $70.7. Eureka! Accepted Hyatt Downtown. :) 8. Web rate was $159.00/night on Hyatt.com yesterday.9. Now get this...Today, checked Hyatt.com and the hotel is sold out for Saturday the 3rd, and lowest rate for Thursday (31st) is 219.00 and Friday is $179!10. FYI...Priceline also offered an SUV rental for $23/day on my confimation page, but we'll be doing the walking/subway thing.10. BTW, Does anyone know if I can use Hyatt Gold Passport 1-800-CHECKIN for priceline reservations? Getting in late, don't want the bottom of the barrel...Cheers!(Cheers...Boston...Get it?)---------------------Hyatt Regency Boston Financial District Check-In Date: Thu, Mar 31, 2005 Check-Out Date: Sun, Apr 3, 2005 Your Offer Price: $70.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $210.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $36.51 Total Charges: $246.51 Link to comment
