confusedgirl Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Hi there, I really need some help sorting out accommodation from the 21st october till the 24th October 2010. I have been on PRICELINE and HOTWIRE lots, reading this forum up and down, alas nothing has helped my poor bidding skills. I really cannot afford to spend more than 100 dollars a night, but do not want to live in a roach and bed bug infested place. I would ideally like the doubletree as I know someone who got it recently for around $90 a night. Clearly prices are up right now or its full which is pushing the price up. I have lowered my standards and am also interested in the candlewood the reviews are pretty solid and as i said so long as there are no bed bugs i am ok. What can I do...? How can I secure a place? I have bid on 3* up to 100 dollars a night with no luck and just tried my luck with $50 putting 2* (knowing it wouldn't really work)Do you think that I can even get something at $100 a night. If I get something for about $80 I would be looking to book 2 more nights but from the 29th October to the 31st it totally depends on what I get for the first set of dates. Thank you for you help!
