nickrx Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 I've been looking for a 4* hotel in Manhattan for months now for the dates 10/22/10-10/25/10 (Friday - Sunday). I haven't found anything under (or even close to) $200/night. By reading this board and doing lots of research I learned that this is typically one of the busiest/most expensive times of year so I was content to stay cheaper in Jersey and deal with the buses. However, last night (10/12) I randomly searched Hotwire and found the deal stated above: $189/night for all three nights, which ended up being the W New York in Midtown East. I am so shocked because I have looked for so long that I don't actually believe it's true. I even called the hotel this morning to confirm my reservation, even though they say you don't have to. I've read the reviews, I know the rooms will be small (it is NY afterall), but I'm not reading anything about bedbugs on any review site. Should I be worried? Is this too good to be true?I just found and bough 4 star hotel in nyc from 10/21-10/24 for $189 per nite, thanks to your advisenick
