oztiks Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Was hoping to get the Intercontinental (preferred) or anything in the Boston Financial District (secondary)Started out at $150 (low) in Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial - rejectedAdded Fenway Park ("dummy"); went to $165 - rejectedAdded North Cambridge - Arlington ("dummy"); went to $175 - rejectedAdded Boston Harbor Front - Aquarium (in hopes of Intercontinental, with a higher bid); went to $190 - rejectedGave up at this point.. seems the area is pretty heavily booked during this time, not sure if that's common or if something is going on? The night with the least available rooms seems to be Fri, 10/22; but there are still a decent amount of 4* hotels with rooms available in my time frame - they just seem to be at a very high rate. Any recommendations on how to score the Intercontinental for the 10/22-10/25 period? Thanks.
