Priceline Hotel: 4* Newark (Jersey City) W Hotel Hoboken

After weeks of trying to score a 4* in Jersey City, I just got the W Hotel in Hoboken. Yesterday I tried up to $130 for a 4* with no luck. This morning I decided to try for a 3* in hopes of getting the Doubletree or the Courtyard. I bid $105 plus I had $10 per night "bonus bucks" through PRICELINE for a total bid of $115. That was accepted & I was upgraded to a 4*. Looks like a nice new hotel and its close to the PATH and to Carlo's Bakery.

we were actually trying for the w hotel for tomm the 18th. we were wondering how did you go about getting upgraded... ? any tips or tricks pls let us know
