Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (NMA-River North) InterContinental Chicago

After a number of attempts to get a decent price in the Loop (I was up to $125 per night without any luck), I was finally accepted in the NMA-River North area at $110 for 10/22 to 10/24 in the InterContinental hotel. I had tried $80, $90 and $100 dollars earlier in the day in NMA-River North/Loop, so that looks to be about the going rate.

And it was not a minute too soon. My spouse was losing her patience with the process.

Any experiences with the InterContinental?

Thanks for the great site, and as a small thanks, I made sure to use the PRICELINE link.

Congrats on your success. :)

I didn't think this was a property without a few minor concerns, but it is a very nice, very well-located and incredibly historic property with a very neat history (the beautiful pool is one of the first public pools built on a higher floor.) This wiki page has a great overview of the hotel's history.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.

Enjoy your stay.

I stayed at the InterContinental before. I agree with AaronJB. The hotel is one of the best in Chicago. It is right in the middle of things on Michigan Avenue. Enjoy your stay.
