Hotwire Hotel: 4* Maui (Kaanapali) Hyatt Regency

Was not expecting to find anything worthwhile this early on Hotwire or Priceline for a vacation next summer. Was looking for a single room (2 adults, 2 children) for 7 nights. Happened to notice a 4 star in Kaanapali for $189/night with the following amenities:

Beachfront

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Laundry Facilities

Hgh-Speed Internet Access

Nearby Golf

Nearby Tennis

Spa Service

Children's Activity Program

I assumed it was either the Hyatt or Sheraton. After agonizing for several days over the positives and negatives for each property, I decided to go for it. Ended up with the Hyatt (stayed there on our honeymoon and loved it). $1573 for the week (taxes and fees + trip insurance for $60) and 4 free tickets using United miles and we've got a relatively reasonable family vacation to Maui! Next stop.....bidding on a rental car.
