Priceline Hotel: New York City

Hi Everybody,

My 1st post after a few days of browsing! Im new to Priceline bidding but going to give it a go for these dates. Im very familiar with Manhattan so most areas are fine for me. Going to start bidding for a 2.5* + at 50 GBP(75$).

Do you think i should maybe start lower?

Start the bid at 50. Priceline will automatically show you if you want to win then what you have to raise the price to.

Go back the next day and increase price by couple dollars. Eventually something will bite.

Sometimes with priceline you will get a better deal last minute rather then this early on.

NYC in the Winter is extremely expensive and unfortunately, these dates are also showing high prices. Unfortunately, I don't think $75 is going to be enough for an accepted 2.5* bid for these dates. Additionally, PRICELINE does not always show a counter-offer after a bid is rejected.
