Priceline Hotel: Bidding on Boston hotels for this weekend

Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on bidding on hotels in boston city for this upcoming weekend. I know it's close and it's the long weekend, and that is mainly why I am having trouble getting my bids accepted.

Here are the details of the reservation I am looking for:

Date: 10/9/2010 (1 night)

Area: Any area that is within 7-10 miles from the boston downtown/fiancial center area

Hotel rating: 2.5* or above.

Price willing to pay: $115 (before priceline taxes and fees) - for 3* and above and maybe around 95-100 for a 2.5*

Any tips on bidding etc would be highly appreciated! i have been trying for almost 2 days now without much success.

Unfortunately, this weekend is busy and rates are quite expensive, with HOTWIRE rates showing at around $200-300+ for the main downtown areas.

Which areas exactly would be acceptable for bidding and what bids have you made so far?
