masenheym Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Hello,For me is Priceline new but I read everything very carefully, but the next question do I have.Yesterday I made some bids. Today I make the same bids but I start with higher price. When my bid is rejected is says:Duplicate requestWe were not able to process this request since our records indicate you have already made a request for this same trip. Your credit card has not been charged for Request Number .......We'd be happy to try your request again if you can do any one of the following:Change your dates of stay Select a different hotel quality star level Add more areas in which you'd be willing to stay What does this mean, do these bid count or do I have to wait for 24 hours?Another question I have is how many bids can I do in one session? Is there a maximum? Thanks a lot for your help!
masenheym Posted September 28, 2010 Author Report Posted September 28, 2010 Hello,Today I tried again. For example:*3.5 TS*3.5 CI*3.5 LI*3.5 MS*3.5 MTE*3.5 CPSAfter this bid I tried the next serial*3.5 MTE*3.5 CI*3.5 LI*3.5 TS*3.5 CPS*3.5 MSAfter the first bid it immidiately says duplicate request? Why is this? This is a different bidding than the first one or am I wrong?I receive e-mails of priceline with the history, but I have the feeling that this is not a serious bid.Who can give me an advice.I search for a hotel for 5 nights between november 22nd till november 27th. thereuare Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Congratulations on your success!Looks like a nice deal for this area and time of year... thank you for sharing your results with the board. If you're not familiar with this property, it generally gets very good reviews except for having notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards)... so go expecting a tiny room and the rest of your stay should go well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
