johnlee009 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Not sure if this is the right place to post this...but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative similar to the rooms in Venetian or Palazzo.A standard room with 2 queen beds with a fold out sofa bed.Anyone have any idea if there is another hotel with similar layout?I would like to find out before deciding on whether to try Hotwire. Thanks

johnlee009 Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Posted October 4, 2010 Check-in Oct 29thCheck-out Oct 31st.Budget $500-$600 (Venetian or Palazzo). But looking for a cheaper alternative similar to Palazzo's basic room of 2 beds with a fold out sofa bed. After I reserve my room through HOTWIRE can I call the hotel to confirm? Or will I need to go through Hotwire?
thereuare Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 ...Palazzo's basic room of 2 beds with a fold out sofa bed.The Palazzo's standard room is ONE bed and a pullout sofabed. After I reserve my room through HOTWIRE can I call the hotel to confirm?Yes, you can call the hotel and put in a request for the room type that you want, but they might be unable, or willing, to accommodate your request (or if they can there may be an additional charge involved... which is often the case at the Venetitan and Palazzo) For more on this subject see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.How many guests do you have total for the two rooms? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. johnlee009 Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Posted October 4, 2010 I guess it wasn't standard...but I had several visits to the Palazzo with a room with 2 beds with a pullout sofa bed. Enough to sleep 6. It was about $20 more than the option you described with one bed.Still a standard room but with 2 beds instead of one.I'm planning to have about 6 guests in the room. That's the reason why I was considering Palazzo/Venetian. I had great experience with them before with the 2 beds and a pull out sofa bed included.I just don't want to spend so much this time for a 5 star hotel. Looking for an alternative. Thanks
AaronJB Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Polo Towers - $218 on Expedia for these dates (45% off) for a 2-bedroom suite w/kitchen, plus coupon code festive10 takes another $20 off the total - $468 w/tax. Gets pretty good reviews. Just throwing out a more spacious option if it's going to be all 6 in one room. Please use the site's Expedia link to start your purchases and searches.
