kotik Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Hi, I'm planning to use PRICELINE link. I'm a newbie to priceline. Used it unsuccessfully once before a couple of years ago. We are looking for a room in NMA or Loop area for Thanksgiving weekend. What would be realistic price for 3.5* or 4* hotel? We'll be driving and will have to pay for parking - it looks like most hotels charge $30-50. I would like to pay not more than $100 per night. Thanks.
thereuare Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Based upon current prices $100 is probably about the right ballpark, but may fall just a little short. Are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Parking at Navy Pier and the Millennium Park lots downtown is about $25; staying in the burbs is cheaper and parking is free, but it's about a 40-50 minute Metra train ride downtown.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
