Priceline Hotel: 10/9/2010-10/12/2010 Chicago NMA/LOOP Newbie HELP Needed~~~

We were just planning our trip to Chicago during Columbus day vacation. The dates are settled, we would prefer NMA/LOOP area, 3* and up. Our budget is around 100, I guess? We're open to any suggestions. Thanks a lot!

Based upon current rates i don't think $100 will be enough for a 3* hotel for these dates.

If you want to give it a try i'd bid as follows:

At the 3* level in Chicago you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

The issue with these dates is the Marathon on the 10th (so the night of the 9th is extremely busy, the nights of 10/10-12 shouldn't be as bad.) There should be no issue with getting a hotel under $100 (and you could likely get a 4* for just under $100), but the cheapest HOTWIRE offering for 10/9-10 on HOTWIRE is $275.
