fatboydave Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Looking for guidance on these areas: USE, USW, FD, for 10/29. Would be using Bart from SFO. Budget about $100 and looking for 3.5 or above. Any suggestions or ideas of what is available at this time would be appreciated.
thereuare Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Louisiana thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then reply to this thread indicating if you're willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* OR if your goal is the least expensive 3.5* or better and and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Goal is least expensive for one night.... but willing to go $125 for 4* or better in the USE/USW area.I do think you have a shot at a 4* hotel in the USE or USW zones... does this mean you want to for this first up to $125, then if rejected try for a 3.5* in any of the three zones? Please confirm and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. fatboydave Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Posted October 4, 2010 Will try for 4* first then go down to 3.5* if it can't be done within the budget. How much would you estimate the 4* should go for around that time? Any idea of hotel possibilities?
slruud Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Just for research sake, Lastminutetravel.com has the Hyatt Regency for $95/nite, the Clift for $124/nite, and the Westin St. Francis for $125/nite. It appears you should be able to get a bid accepted for $100 or less on PRICELINE. Good luck.
fatboydave Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Posted October 4, 2010 How did you make the determination that the Hyatt was available at that price?
thereuare Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 At the 4* level in San Francisco you have FIVE re-bid zones.
