Priceline Hotel: Hollywood/Beverly Hills/Santa Monica Strategy

Hi, I'm going to LA and am looking at staying somewhere in the Beverly Hills/Hollywood area from the 22nd-24th Oct and in Santa Monica from the 24-26th Oct. I've never used Priceline before and someone suggested I could come here and ask for a strategy. My budget would be no more than $100 per night for a 3.5-4* hotel in both locations, not sure what other info you require but any help you can provide is most welcome. Thanks

To begin... go to PRICELINE and look at how they divide the region into zones. You mention Hollywood and Beverly Hills but this encompasses two different PRICELINE zones: (Beverly Hills-West Hollywood) and (Hollywood). Are you willing to accept a hotel in either of these zones or are both acceptable?

Also, are you willing to pay more for a 4* hotel vs. a 3.5* hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?

Thanks for the reply, I'd be happy to stay at any hotel within either zone, I'd also be looking at getting the best option available at the cheapest rate so a 3.5* would be fine. Thanks again
