jluff
This is in Maine, not Oregon, lol..though I wouldn't mind going there someday. I hear that state is beautiful.I bid before I knew the proper rebid strategy. This was actually my 3rd bid waited 72 hours between each because I had timeI would only accept downtown Portland, ME.First bid $50Second bid $55Third bid $60 - accepted.I do want to say for anyone else reading this. I had to call the property to find out if they had a pool and hot tub. I have read reviews of this hotel and several people had mentioned they did have these ammenities. No where on their website does it mention this. Expedia now does in their description, but that is very recent and there are still no pics of them. The property verified that indeed they do have a pool and hot tub. I would think they would use them as more of a marketing tool to get business. I am surprise they did not tout this on the website.Check-In Date: Saturday, April 23, 2005 Check-Out Date: Sunday, April 24, 2005 Doubletree Hotel Portland1230 Congress Street Portland, Maine 04102 207-774-5611 Link to comment
