I'm trying to find a hotel with kitchenette near the airport and under $50. All tips are welcomed!

2* O'Hare Intl Airport ORD North area Hotel

Oct 1-8 ($46/night)

Amnesties: Complimentary Breakfast

This one is a bit further away:

2 1/2* Arlington Heights - Elk Grove Village area Hotel

Oct 1-8 ($42/night)

Amnesties: Suite, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Kitchenette.

Done. Forget the Arlington Heights...

I'm interested in finding a 1-2 week accommodation under $50/night /w kitchenette (fridge $ microwave) next to O'Hare in near future. I'm flexible with the dates though. Any ideas?

Unfortunately the 2* above has not yet been reported to the board, but i'd have no reason to expect that it has a Kitchenette given that icon isn't shown.

Do you need to be near the airport or were you only looking there as it's often least expensive?

Well...

I'd prefer near Muvico movie theater (awesome!), close to Blue line public transportation and of course hotels tends to be less expensive near the airport. I might as well go to Extended Stay America website and book it from there. They have decent location and the price isn't too bad either.

Any idea what this could be ($42... 10/3/10-10/5/10)?

The Extended StayAmerica in Elmhurst has previously been seen in this zone and star rating so that would be my best guess for this one (although the O'Hare Inn and Suites seems like it might be a fit for this amenity description as well)
