Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Albany (Downtown) Crowne Plaza Albany

Using the PRICELINE link here, I had an Accepted Bid $51, first bid for a 2.5* (Albany(Downtown, 6-7 Oct 2010) (no 3*'s in Downtown Albany available to be bid upon) and as expected based on info from here** it was the Crowne Plaza Albany. Seen some mixed reviews, but most centered on some customers relation complaints rather than room quality, and we like the location, so will give it a shot and follow up with a review later.

**Prior to bidding saw on HOTWIRE a Central-Albany 3* property with Amenities of:

Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Golf and Tennis

for $69 which I assume is also the Crown Plaza, as well as seeing same on Expedia - Unpublished for same price,

p.s. not sure if I am supposed to report here, but on 1-2 October, after seeing a $57 for a 3* Albany on Hotwire, which according to here matched up with the Hilton Garden Airport Albany, I did not see it on Hotwire but found the same rate and similar description on Expedia unpublished and purchased it on Expedia(Hotwire and Expedia showing similar amenities for $96 for October 6 one night)
