It's Marina - Cow Hollow - Pacific Heights area

My best guess is the Marina Inn, though I'm sure there are a number of other possibilities.

Do you mean the Heritage Marina Hotel or the Marina Inn?

The Marina Inn Gould Be a Choice but the Heritage Marina Hotel would Be a Complete Desaster!

I'd be very careful with an non-IDed hotel in that zone. There are some that get very poor reviews.

Perhaps you can find an affordable 2* in a zone that is easier to ID. Or you could check out LastMinuteTravel and the ID method that BEAV posted in the Off Topic/Run of House section. The ID's are pretty foolproof, which is nice.

If I get a chance, I'll look and see what they have.

I meant the Marina Inn. The listing I saw on HOTWIRE showed a 3.5 TripAdvisor rating, which eliminates the Heritage Marina. Although the TA rating suggests that this place is at least adequate, you should check rates elsewhere to make sure you're saving enough money to compensate for the uncertainty.
