I was trying many times to get a 3.5 star hotel (Buffalo Marriott) and bid up to $100 with no such luck. So we went down to a 3 star knowing that the level of hotels in Buffalo are lower than the norm. Started the bidding at $45 and added zones and got:Holiday Inn Grand Island Grand Island100 Whitehaven Road Grand Island, New York 14072 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $65.00 Subtotal: $130.00 Taxes & Fees: $28.94 Total Charges*: $158.94 I did use the PRICELINE link.
