yoyok Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Hi guys, ive read alot of topics and i really appreciate your effort and help :) also advices here helped me before in a previous trip. Im going to LA in october i would like to stay somewhere near the Olympic Collection like within 10 mins drive. My dates are oct 14th to oct 18th. The optimum areas are santa monica followed by beverly hills/west hollywood. I dont care about hotel stars i can stay in a 2* hotel. Can someone help me secure the LOWEST PRICE for this trip? please let me know if you need more info :) your help is greatly appreciated
thereuare Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Welcome (officially) to BetterBidding!...also advices here helped me before in a previous trip.Glad the board was helpful with your previous purchase, but it would have been appreciated if you shared your results with the board, helping others with their own purchases just as you had been helped by others who shared your own wins with the board before you.The optimum areas are santa monica followed by beverly hills/west hollywood.I assume you want the least expensive in either of these zones OR did you want to bid one zone first up to a limit?I dont care about hotel stars i can stay in a 2* hotel. Can someone help me secure the LOWEST PRICE for this trip?Is a 1* acceptable or are you setting 2* as the minimum threshold? So that you don't overbid, what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for this stay? (and we can use this as your maximum bid)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Not sure if you'll be able to score something as low as $40, but if you want to give it a try i'd try as follows:Select 2* Santa Monica...Bid $33, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 2* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood...Bid $33, if rejected add Santa Monica...Bid $35If the above is rejected i'd wait 24 hours and re-try:Select 2* Santa Monica...Bid $38, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 2* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood...Bid $38, if rejected add Santa Monica...Bid $40Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
