amyem2000 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Originally started with Union Square East at 110 added in West for 120.Then added in SOMA area for 125. Then used free re-bid zones before finally getting the Intercontinental at $145. Expensive time in SF.I originally tried bidding for 4 nights (9-24 through 9-27) and got nothing up to $145 so switched to 2 nights and then will switch hotels for the other 2 nights.

amyem2000 Posted September 26, 2010 Author Report Posted September 26, 2010 i did use the PRICELINE link provided. I didn't list the hotel from over a year ago as when i logged in this time, i didn't think tat post was still relevant and i haven't logged on to this board since then. i never used HOTWIRE or PRICELINE to book a room. Once i identified it was the holiday inn at 3 star we decided to use AAA and book a different hote.. i don't remember where we stayed.also, based on prices in the city, we have decided to stay further outside of town and not use PRICELINE.
