teaberry Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 I've been trying Boston for a few days with no luck, but say there were two successful bids at $107 and 109 so I decided to try again at $104 a night and got the Marriot Copley as well after having to wait about 10 minutes. I used to PRICELINE link from here. Thank you all!*ANY help on parking tips and info is appreciated as we'll have a rental. TIA.
thereuare Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you were able to win this property even lower then the wins you referenced and that you're happy with the results.Parking in Boson is tough, especially midweek, but you can try this garage which appears to be $27 max per 24 hours.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. teaberry Posted September 23, 2010 Author Report Posted September 23, 2010 Thank you very much for the parking tip. It's been several years since I visited Boston and I didn't have a car so I relied on the T . While it seems to be the oldest subway system I've ever been on, it got me around where I wanted. We'll have a car because we are doing a fall roadtrip around the east coast and just going through Bean town :)
franklin411 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 I just got back from a priceline wni at the Marriott...it's right across the street from a Shaw's supermarket and Copley Square has a great farmer's market, so stocking up on food should be no problem. The gym at the Marriott is fantastic as well--it's the biggest/newest/most complete gym I've ever used while traveling.
