Beckles Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I had bid for 4* in Downtown and Convention Center-Arts District to $110 without even getting a rebid offer, so lowered to 3.5*.Based on my past experience it appears that Priceline has changed their free rebid offer formula, in this case I got a free rebid offer on an $80 bid, they wanted me to add $20, I was able to bid up in $1 increments (I was able to get that many by adding in Downtown during the process), and I did not hit until $93. I have never had to add that much to a rebid to get an accepted offer before. I had suspected this had changed before, but this example strongly confirms my suspicion.Check-In Date: Sunday, October 3, 2010 Check-Out Date: Thursday, October 7, 2010 Hotel Name: Marriott New Orleans Convention Center859 Convention Center Boulevard New Orleans, Louisiana 70130 504-613-2888Summary of Charges Billing Date: September 21, 2010 Your Offer Price: $93.00 Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 4 Subtotal: $744.00 Taxes and Fees: $132.24 Total Charges*: $876.24
