off-trail Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Started at $58.Maybe should have tried USE only; I'm not sure the Hilton is as nice. But we'll see.
thereuare Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board.Do you recall the highest rejected bid that you made before getting accepted at $73?Thanks! Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
off-trail Posted April 13, 2005 Author Report Posted April 13, 2005 It went $58, $63, $68, $73.Our stay was great. Room was on 17th floor of Tower 2, facing City Hall. The room was impeccable. A little street noise was the only complaint. We checked in using the self-service terminal in the lobby. It seemed to give us our choice of room (King, 2 doubles, etc.) so it would seem that if you were particular on that point you would be able to get what you wanted (so long as rooms were available). Thanks for the great site. I would be hesitant to use Priceline without the guidance offered here.P.S. Go Blue! (I'm a Dec '80 UM grad)
shammes53 Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I'm going to be staying at the Hilton April 24 - 28 and am really looking forward to the stay (I'm attending the Veritas Vision Conference at Moscone) I got this bid for $75, which I thought was great for this property. Glad you had a great stay and thanks for the review, very helpful!
