I booked a hotel on Hotwire last night for 10/08/10 just 1 night. It was $44 plus taxes and fees: Total price: $56.37

Then, the weirdest thing happened, I watched my computer screen go berserko and the cursor hopped around and booked the following rooms:

2 rooms 10/08/10-10/11/10 for $44 a night each room times 3 = $314.13

It's under someone else's name. Very strange. Have spent all morning on the phone with my credit card company and the Hotwire folks. Am now awaiting a response from their Risk Management department.

I've booked a $44 3.5 star in Dallas Park Central twice in the last two weeks, and both times it turned out to be the Doubletree Campbell Centre. In the past, I'm used to getting the Crowne Plaza for this price range and star level.
