spex2004 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Hi!Trying to get a good deal on a hotel in Las Vegas for dates 9/24-9/26. Trying to get a 4*+ hotel possibly on the strip.Priceline zones: Las Vegas (Strip North), Las Vegas (Strip North Vicinity), Las Vegas (Strip South).Trying for max bid of $120/night, but as low as possible would be great! Thanks!
thereuare Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 To confirm... some of the zone(s) you're willing to bid above have hotels that are slightly off the strip, such as the Westin and Trump. Would hotels such as this be acceptable?Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. spex2004 Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 Well, I'd like to be as close to the strip as possible. But, if thats not possible given my price range, then i don't mind going off the strip.
thereuare Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 If you are successful in the Strip North Vicinity, the Trump would be a highly likely outcome. Take a look at the "Strip North Vicinity" zone as well as the location of the Trump. Based upon this info do you want to include this zone in your bidding from the start, or first try the other two zones up to your limit and then, only if rejected, add the the "Strip North Vicinity" zone into the mix.Let us know your thoughts and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. spex2004 Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 Yeah Trump will work for me. I've tried bidding on the zones I want, but it keeps getting rejected. Please advise.
