malalicious
I have never used PRICELINE before, but I've been trying over the past week to bid and *hopefully* win the W in Midtown Atlanta for 10/8-10/10. I have gone up to $80/night. Any tips??Thanks! :) Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to ensure/increase the odds of getting a particular property when using PRICELINE to bid. Would you be interested in staying in any of the 4*'s in this zone, and what would be your desired max budget?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. malalicious
I would be fine with any of the hotels in the midtown area. I would like to stay around $85 or less. I am just thrown off a little because everyone seems to be getting deals for that area for much lower than that, and I can't get anything! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are date specific and occupancy levels for your dates may be higher then for other nites when you've see lower bids accepted. With rates at the W hotel over $200/nite your $85 bid is less then half of prevailing rates which may explain your lack of success. Do you want to raise your bid, lower your star rating, or wait it out and hope for lower rates down the road? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
