eurotravel Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Update #3 for the second leg of my split bid... here you can see the winning priceline bid for the first leg of the stay.I bid my second strategy of 4* hotels in Chelsea-Knightsbridge/Kensington-Earls Court/Notting Hill/Regents Park for my remaining dates of 11/10 - 11/12. I started at $85.00 with the final and winning bid of $105.00 for the NH Harrington Hall.4* NH Harrington Hall Kensington-Earls Court11/10 - 11/12 @ $105.00 per nighttaxes of $45.92 for a grand total of 255.92.The posted rate for these dates at this hotel is approx. $465.00 for a savings of $209.00.All together my total for 6 nights in London is $761.08. I am happy with this and happy that the bidding process is OVER.P.S. My strategy for this and first scenario was simple (actually stole it from the moderator). I picked 4 zones for each each strategy, combining 2 different zones at time. I started bidding low and worked my way up the chain until my final bid of all zones in each strategy.
