jen_m78 Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 I've been tryiing for over a week now for a 4* hotel on the Vegas strip. 9/23-9/27 and haven't had any luck! Started out at $70 and have gone all the way to $89 a night. I have even tried the re-bidding zones! I'm open to the South strip as well but no luck. Funny thing is PRICELINE is charging $186 for Sunday 9/26 at Treasure Island but the actual TI website is only charging $54. I'm wondering if this is going against my bidding. Any suggestions?

jen_m78 Posted September 17, 2010 Author Report Posted September 17, 2010 I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do that since it could be a hassle.
thereuare Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 What is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jen_m78 Posted September 18, 2010 Author Report Posted September 18, 2010 We would be willing to pay up to $95 for a 4* even though 5* are going for a little over $100.
thereuare Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 You're close, but your maximum bid is only $6 from your last failed bid, so not leaving much of a window to succeed. I would try up to your limit on your next round of bidding.Where are seeing a 5* hotel for just over $100??Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
