Bleh, I was hoping this would be the Holiday Inn instead. It's bad enough that we compromised by getting an airport hotel for our other night, downgrading to 3 stars, compromised on location, and spent more than we planned. Hopefully, this hotel turns out okay.

Getting a hotel for this day has been nightmarish, as there is a silly Oracle convention in town. Larry Ellison & Co. are driving up the rates. Wife and I tried probably 50+ PRICELINE bids over the last week or two, and all were unsuccessful.

Sorry to hear this nite didn't go as smoothly as you had anticipated, but at least you got it settled and it's only for one nite... hopefully it will go better then you anticipate.
