Hi all. Looking for some help with bidding. Will be in NYC on the 30th of November for 3 nights (check out on the 3rd). Looking for 3.5-4* in times square, MTE/MTW, and UES/UWS. Times square preferably. Max bid would be about $210.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Have you been to NYC before and/or familiar with the city? UES and UWS aren't usually the best for the typical tourist...

At the 4* level the most frequently bid zones are MTE, MTW, TS, CPS and ESB.

At the 3.5* level some re-consider MTE as a few of the hotels are a bit far east and can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway... so you have to decide if this is acceptable. As well, CPS has the Hudson Hotel which has notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards) so you need to decide of this would be acceptable as well. Lastly, at the 3.5* level the MSG and Chelsea zones are often added to the mix as they're generally convenient and can be a good value.

Based upon the above please confirm the zone(s) you'd like to bid at each star level and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.
