Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Philadelphia (Downtown) Marriott

I am brand new to Priceline, but interested in getting a good rate on the Philadelphia 3.5* Marriott Airport hotel. Any suggestions on how to snag this hotel?? We need one night (Oct. 1st to 2nd), 1 room for 2 people.

There is no way to ensure a particular property when bidding on PRICELINE (and a 3.5* bid may be upgraded to 4*.) Are you only interested in the Marriott, or would you accept other properties in the zone?

I would consider other hotels in the area. We're looking for one night to stay over before our early morning flight. I'd prefer something of 3.5 or 4* quality. Is it better to wait until closer to the date we are staying? Thanks!

Got the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia, 3.5*, for $70. Feel great about this as retail value for a room there is $149!
