Priceline Hotel: 4* Baltimore (Downtown-InnerHarbor) can't win

I continued to add other areas (where I knew there were no 4* anyway) and inch up the price.

I did 79, 81, 83, 85. Then 24 hours later tried 85, 87, 89, 91.

It is now a week later. I''m as high as $139/night.

I realize I am trying for this weekend, which is a Yanks/Balt MLB weekend. But there are 4* available on Priceline.

Past winning bids for 4* posted ran from $75 - $100.

Please provide me suggestions to win a 4*. I'd prefer not to move down to a 3.

I've been having trouble getting one for the night of Saturday 10/16/10. No Baseball, No Football. I can't figure it out hahaha

at one point i just said, screw it, and bid $110 and STILL didn't get a 4*

I'm just hoping that as it gets closer that they'll start taking

yea, it was more of a comment about how he's not alone in not getting a room around that price
