Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (Times Square-Theatre District) Millennium Broadway

As mentioned in my priceline win post, I got the Marriott Marquis for the Weekend of Oct 1-3 (2 nights) at $200 per night.

I was hoping to check in earlier - Wednesday Sept 29, so I tried the "extend your stay at same price option" It was not accepted. But I got a message back of a "great deal" to stay at the Marriott for $440 per night.

Any suggestions on getting the Marriott Marquis for the 2 nights (Sept 29-30) at a price close to $200?

I used the PRICELINE link to place the initial bid.

Hotel direct rates for this property are in excess of $450/nite for the nites above... assuming rates remain this high, i dont' think you're likely going to see anyplace offering this property near $200/nite.

If you want to arrive earlier then your current check-in date i think your best best would be to try PRICELINE to win a different hotel in the city and change hotels on 10/1.

Got the 3.5* Millennium Broadway Hotel for 2 nights at $255 - Sept 29 to Oct 1

Shows mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but generally positive.
