macman Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Bidding on two rooms for Sunday October 17th, 4* downtown. I won Intercontinenal Stephen F Austin @ $85. Initially I selected 4*, Downtown Zone at $78, rejected. Added Central zone b/c they do not have a 4 * hotel at $83, rejected. Added North zone to the prior @ $85 and won. Since the going rate was $198 for the area I am pleased with this win and will spend my savings on a nicer dinner! Only one block from 6th street.
