I wish that I had found this site sooner. I have been using PL for many years and have actually used another site in the past. Haven't used it in a while because a) it was not being maintained and :o they were a bit snarky. Glad I found this one for future bids.

So on to my win. I bid for a 2 1/2 star in the Redondo/Manhattan Beach area. I bid 2.5 because I did not want to be "upgraded" from a 3* as I have been in the past. Plus I was hoping to win the Hawthorne Suites for which I had reservations already, just in case. Well I guess that didn't work! :) I have stayed at the Crown Plaza before, on an upgraded 3* bid. Liked the location. Not thrilled with the rooms. Totally hate the parking & internet charge. Fortunately, it's just for 2 nts. When you factor in the parking, I'm saving about $85 so I can't complain. :)
