Hotwire Hotel: 2* Orange County (Anaheim-Disneyland North) Anaheim Rodeway

Hi Everyone.

I need your help to identify the following hotels off of Hotwire, which I'm trying to book between 9/24/10-9/26/10:

a.) 2* $39/night Anaheim - Disneyland North area hotel

- Complimentary breakfast

- Laundry Facilities

- High Speed Internet Access

- $5/room/night resort fee

b.) 2.5* $59/night Anaheim - Disneyland North area hotel

- Laundry Facilities

- High Speed Internet Access

- $10/room/night resort fee

Here's my situation:

I have 8 people in my group and 4 people already booked a room at Quality Inn (walking distance to Disneyland). I ideally would like to book a room at or near Quality Inn so we can all walk over to the Disneyland together. We are also on a strict budget, so we're trying to keep the hotel expenses to a minimum. These are the only 2 cheapest hotels listed for that weekend.

The 2* is a match for the Anaheim Rodeway Inn Maingate so that would be my best guess for that one.

The 2.5* has not yet been reported to the board, but the La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland is available for $69/nite (there is no resort fee so basically equal to the 2.5* above which is $59 + $10 resort fee)... would this work for needs?

The 2* was indeed the Anaheim Rodeway. I actually went ahead and cancelled that reservation and just booked another room at La Quinta. It all worked out at the end. Thanks for all your help!

Thank you for the follow-up. Were you able to cancel the HOTWIRE reservation with the hotel? Did you book the La Quinta via HOTWIRE? If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post it as a separate thread. Thanks.
