Priceline Hotel: 5* Athens InterContinental Athenaeum

Got this bid when I was sailing to Crete using ANEk ferry. They charged on-ship wireless for E3/2hr. Bid $81 ( my last win) and got it on the first attempt. Four days ago, I tried $75 but was rejected. Hope this help other who are planning a stay in Athens. The hotel is very nice and the price it is an excellent win. You can not get any thing better for this value around Plaka area lodging. The location is a bit of center, but the hotel has shuttle running to Syntagma Square. I mainly use Athens public transportation (trams , buses and metro to the hotel). Hotel food is $$$, so eat elsewhere or bring something to the hotel for breakfast. There are some food nearby (100 yard away) but they open late for breakfast (9am). I didn't try tthem at all.
