VetStudent12 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Hello there people far wiser than I-I'm one of those people who is very organized about traveling and likes to have everything planned out to the last detail. However, I'm planning a trip from Dec 20-24, 2010 to Las Vegas and I find that I really don't have a strong preference of where to stay on the strip. I've been at the Luxor and Mandalay Bay and enjoyed them both, but as I'm planning a surprise trip for a friend I'm curious to try the "name your own price" feature as I am a poor student. I think I would really be happy with any of the 4-starish properties in the area (NYNY, Luxor, PH, etc) but I would love to stay in the MGM Grand if possible. Any tips on how to go about this/what to bid? I could already get a room at Paris for $52/night, Luxor for $43/night, and NYNY for $43/night on Orbitz if that gives you any indications. Also...any idea of a worst case scenario? Thanks so much!!! :)
thereuare Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Historically this should be a relatively slow time in Vegas, but what is your maximum bid per nite for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (or our Orbitz link if you ultimately go that route) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
