Scored this on the morning of 9/5/10. Amenities included Fitness, Hi-Speed, Restaurant, and Pool *was* listed in my case, so maybe the other poster ($139) had a glitch or misread it? In any event, the pool at the W is excellent, ironically, for children (maximum depth 4 feet -- it's essentially a 2-lane lap pool), and they actually provide pool toys (e.g., beach balls to toss around) on request. I guess when they designed this for the under-30 crowd (which is obvious from the decor), they really meant it!!

Note that I searched for this on HOTWIRE for 2 adults + 2 kids, and this was by far the best rate I've seen for that configuration (2 double beds). Normally, we book for 2 adults, and if the kids are along, we negotiate a 2-bed room upon check-in.

Also, although this is mainly a convention neighborhood, there is family-friendly food all over the area (Chevy's Tex-Mex across from the hotel; Cha-Am Thai 1 block south; thirstybear brewpub 1/2 block east; and many more).
