travellingjme Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 The last time that I planned to use Priceline, we decided to cancel the trip so I never actually started bidding. This time, my friend and I are looking for a hotel for the weekend on 9/17 - 9/19. Although, we are pretty picky about where to stay - any of the 4* hotels in the Atlantic City area will do. Any idea where to start my bidding? We would love to try to get the Borgata, but that may be a stretch. We are willing to go up to $160/per night if necessary. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,
AaronJB Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Please post what you decided for the trip discussed in your prior NYC Priceline thread in that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to look into the above question. Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Pyro Tec Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 I am also looking for Atlantic City 9/17-9/19. I have a read a great deal of posts on this board and did learna lot! But I think I may have waited too long to bid. Actually, I did bid but tried to do the "change one thing" in order to re-bid and I did, but i forgot i added more places (Vineland, Atlantic City West, etc with no 3.5 stars) before adding 3 star to rebid and then got something way out in Somers Point! So my fault, but I had Priceline refund it.Anyway, so I am looking for a 3.5 star and looking to spend $119/night. On the Hotwire board I saw they had this deal, but spent time on Priceline trying to get it for cheaper...well now that my bids were rejected, Howtire no longer has the $119 hotel, which was the Sheriton becuase it was 3.5 star with the new no smoking symbol, and i matched the ammentities.Sooo, what is one to do now?
