Hotwire Hotel: Identify Central & Vatican 4* 09/20 to 09/28

Hi there,

I am new to this board.. I have been trying for the past week to get a hotel in central or vatican for $105 - 4 stars from Sept 20 to Sept 28 .. which is coming up.. does anyone have any suggestions? I've seen people get the Vatican 3 stars for like $76 .. is that still possible?

Rates are date specific, so you may not be able to replicate a previous winning bid, especially if hotel direct rates for their stay are different then your own. As well, your stay is for 8 nites... if rates are higher for just one nite during the stay, or a hotel has not offered PRICELINE inventory for just one nite of the date range, it can negatively impact your bidding.

I'm guessing your bids are a bit low for this time of year... what is the best rate you're able to find at 4* and 3* hotels thru conventional booking channels?
