Priceline Hotel: Help London november 5 till nov 7th gift

Hello my wife becomes 40 nov 1st, I would like to gif her a weekend to London as a birthday present.

I allready booked the flight, the only thing I need now is a Hotel for her and our daugter.

My questions are, when should I start bidding, and with what price should I start with.

I don't even know if I want a 3 4 or 5 star hotel. I just want a nice hotel for her.

I hope that someone can give me some pointers.

My wife and daughter are going, so I need only one room. I was thinking about spending about 100 euro's per night.

Which zones are you looking to bid? I'm guessing that 5* hotels will likely be beyond your budget, but depending upon the zone(s) you choose, a 4* may be possible, and would likely be nicer then a 3*.
