ordinaryjoe Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 So it's been tough getting a hotel for those dates and price...Tried 3.5* and above,Copley Square - Theatre District Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial Fenway Park Boston Harbor Front - Aquarium Boston Waterfront - Convention Center Cambridge Revere - Logan Airport (BOS)adding each in that order, going from $90, $100, $105, $110Then after 24 hours, tried with 3* and up, with Copley Square - Theatre District Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial Fenway Park Boston Harbor Front - Aquarium Boston Waterfront - Convention Center Cambridge but nothing for $110.Added Revere - Logan Airport (BOS), bid accepted for $110.Got a hotel not mentioned before, Embassy Suites Hotel Boston At Logan Airport, 3*.Slightly disappointed, but still way cheaper than the hotel's price. Maybe a busy weekend for Boston?Used the forum's PRICELINE link

nortica Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 I've stayed at that Embassy Suites before. PRICELINE used to rate it 3.5* I believe. It was nice. It's a typical Embassy Suites -- big generic suites, breakfast cooked to order. It seems strangely-located. I don't know how many people are really looking for an apartment-type hotel with kitchen and living room right beside the airport. (Perhaps not that many, which may be why they discount their rooms on PRICELINE.) But other than that, I thought it was a nice hotel. If you don't have a car, you can take the hotel's shuttle either to the Blue Line station or to any terminal and pick up the Silver Line to go in and out of Boston
