Trying to get 4 star in the Harbor Front Boston area. Unsuccessful up to $140 so far. Looking for 11/05-11/07. Tips?

Hit at $165 at Intercontinental Boston! 4*, total of $388 for two nights, best deal on Hotwire for 4* was $425 total.

Any way to make sure I get a king/queen instead of 2 double beds?

$165/night, started at $130. 2 nights, 11/05-11/07 Intercontinental.

Excellent deal for the Intercontinental. PRICELINE doesn't guarantee 2 beds, only 1 bed/double occupancy; I would try to call the hotel in advance and put in a request.

I would call the hotel and request it. Call now and put the request in, then call again the day of check-in. There is no guarantee but I have always been able to get what I asked for. That's a great deal on the Intercontinental. A friend of mine works for IHG and even with the "family rate", I can't get that good a deal.
